Our Educators create a warm and stimulating environment where the children feel safe and secure and participate in a wide range of experiences that help children grow and learn.
Educators develop positive relationships with children as they begin their time here, providing a sense of security and belonging, which forms a major part of the curriculum to ensure they become competent and capable learners who will thrive in this caring space and onto formal education at school.
This provides children with a secure and inviting environment which fosters learning through play-based activities as well as an environment where Educators can continue to scaffold the children’s interests and abilities into meaningful learning opportunities along with developing the children’s socialising skills.
Each child’s day involves time both indoors and outdoors providing them with rich learning opportunities shaped by their own interests. Our love for the outdoor environment provides children with many opportunities to learn how to care for our world and develop an understanding of the importance of sustainable practices, along with plenty of physical activity for growing bodies.
Children begin to form friendships with their peers during these years and will further develop their independence, self-help and communication skills.
Family and community involvement is valued and encouraged so that we can form effective partnerships together to enhance the sense of community. Many families develop strong bonds with each other, and these bonds are carried forward into their future through home and school life.
