At Everton Park Child Care we believe that children have a right to an Education that will lay the foundation for the rest of their lives, delivered through a play-based curriculum in which we provide an environment that is stimulating and challenging and allows children the opportunity to grow, learn and develop at their own pace as confident, competent, inquisitive and resourceful learners now and into the future.
Children’s interests form the basis of our curriculum which is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework. Our Early Childhood Educators and teachers scaffold the children’s learning through enquiry based learning and open-ended questioning, exploration as well as intentional teaching. 

Each of our rooms are set up to portray an extension of home. This helps children feel safe and secure and provides them with a sense of belonging, to ensure that they grow and develop to their full potential, particularly during these informative years.
Natural elements are used extensively around the centre, to provide calm yet stimulating environments.  We keep our displays simple and uncluttered to prevent over stimulation and make the surroundings more aesthetically pleasing to children and families. 

Lighting sets the mood in the rooms with the inclusion of the warm lighting of our lamps along with the brighter lighting overhead when required.  Children’s input and feedback are sought and incorporated, which empowers them to have their say and play a part in the decision making of the centre and their own learning journey.

So far we have had a wonderful experience at Everton Park Childcare and Development Centre. The smaller size of the centre allows for our children to feel safe and connected to educators. The children spend a great amount of time in the outdoor area engaged in nature-based play and learning. We have found the new director to be extremely responsive and handles any feedback in a professional and effective way. Communication is great, there has been consistency in the team during our time with the centre and our children are always coming home happy and excited to share about their day!

A wonderful centre with a focus on outdoor education. It’s surrounded by greenery, and children have opportunities for supervised, adventurous play to explore their abilities. There is a veggie garden, chickens, tree swings and no artificial grass! The rooms are quite big and not overstimulating. The educators are phenomenal and support child-led learning. The centre isn't overcrowded and there is a lovely community of parents. Overall, it’s a solid option for families looking for a nature-play centre. We have been here for four years.

There has been big changes to staff over the past few months but from my experience that is an industry wide issue. Management is very transparent and keeps you updated. The core staff there are fantastic! This is the third daycare I have sent my children too and is by far the best. My kids are absolutely thriving!

Our son has been attending Everton Park Early Learning and Development Centre for over 18 months. He’s a high-energy, outdoorsy kid, and the centre has been a great fit for him, especially when it comes to encouraging outdoor, risky play in a safe and supportive way. He’s formed strong bonds with his teachers, and it’s clear they understand and care about him as an individual. Each educator brings something different, and he’s responded well to their warmth and consistency. One thing that stands out is how actively they invite parent input. There is a genuine willingness to listen, talk things through, and adjust when needed. That openness, especially during challenging times, has helped maintain a sense of trust. It shows us the team genuinely wants to rebuild and return to the strong, community-focused centre that first drew us in. No place is perfect, but Everton Park Everton Park Child Care Centre is trying, and we’ve seen first-hand the care and intention behind their work. We are hopeful for what is ahead and grateful for the relationships our son has built there.
